Treatment Detail

What is Microblading?

Microblading is another name for semi permanent eyebrow tattooing. During the microblading procedure a thin layer of pigment is placed into the surface layers of the skin. Although this procedure is a little like tattooing there is a major difference between microblading procedure and permanently tattooed eyebrows. Namely brows created with the microblading technology will dissolve within about one year. This means that the results usually last for a good year and after approximately 10-12 months the color fades away. Thus it is a natural way to make a tattoo and something in between heavier brow design and henna.

How long do results last?

Microblading lasts for about a year. However, the quality of the result as well as longevity greatly depends on skin type, age, and a few other factors. Usually the procedure has to be repeated once a year and some occasional lighter retouching may be needed once in while.

How long is the recovery or healing time?

Many clients can walk right out the door, ready to show off their new brows.Initially brows are stronger in color than they will be when they are healed. They will be a bit tender and red for the remainder of that day. Your new brows will soften to the color they will remain in two to three weeks..

How long does a Microblading procedure take?

The first visit will take about 2 1/2 hours.  It includes a consultation, paper work, numbing, drawing your brow shape, microblading, photos and aftercare instructions.  Your second visit will only take an hour.  The touch ups allow us to fine tune the thickness of the brows and correct any hair strokes that may have faded during healing.  We will schedule your touch up at the same time we schedule your initial visit.  .
