What is a

Diamond Glow Facial?

DiamondGlow® is more than a facial. Unlike traditional wet facial treatments, which rely on chemical exfoliation to treat skin at surface level, DiamondGlow’s® patented recessed diamond tip wand delivers a next-level resurfacing treatment that deeply cleans and rejuvenates the skin.

What are the benefits?

The benefits of Diamond Glow are numerous.  Diamond Glow is usually the most effective in the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, acne, sun damaged, skin clarity and texture, and hyperpigmentation.

What should I expect?

As a non-invasive procedure, it’s normal to experience a small level of discomfort, but you shouldn’t experience any pain. You can also return to your normal daily activities after your facial with only a little redness. Results from a DiamondGlow Facial are also noticeable immediately after your first treatment. You’ll notice your skin is brighter and plumper. You may also notice that your face is smoother and firmer, giving you a younger, fresher appearance.

How many treatments will I need?

Some clients attain the results they’re looking for in just one session, while others may opt for up to four sessions spaced one month apart to achieve optimal results.

Each patient is different, and results may vary.

Pre & Post Care Instructions

Pre-Care:

  1. Wait at least six months post Accutane/isotretinoin use before your Diamond Glow treatment, as isotretinoin use may compromise the skin’s protective barrier.

  2. Discontinue the use of topical products containing AHAs, Retinols, or Vitamin A three (3) days prior to your Diamond Glow service.

  3. If you are prone to herpes simplex outbreaks, such as cold sores, consult your provider on ways to treat prior.

  4. If your face or treatment area has irritated skin (sunburn, open wounds, sores) the day preceding your appointment, please contact our office before your appointment.

  5. This procedure may not be performed over open lesions or compromised skin. Please consult your provider prior to your Diamond Glow to address any such issues.

  6. Inform your Esthetician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Post-care:

There is little to no downtime after a Diamond Glow Facial. You should be able to resume your daily activities immediately.

Keep your skin hydrated and use gentle skin care products. Avoid using topical acne medications for at least one day after treatment. It’s extremely important to protect your skin with sunscreen. Your skin can be more sensitive to the sun in the few weeks after the treatment.
